Host Home

CTA’s host home program is an individualized service that combines the advantages of residential or supported living services with the advantages of a family setting for adults with disabilities.
Unlike programs that stick people in the first available home and then leave them on their own, or hire temporary “families” to live in the home on a rotating basis, CTA carefully matches people with host homes that are a good fit for them and that are long-term, and then we provide extensive support to the person and their host home on an on-going basis.
We are committed to tailoring our services to the needs and desires of people and their families. Our host home services are a great option for people who need truly individualized support outside of a group. They are also great for people who want the security of having consistent, regular support available, but also want independence. When needed our host home services can provide intensive wrap-around services and the highest quality behavior supports.
Host Home services are available under funding from the Division of Services for People with Disabilities and under private pay arrangements.
