Family Support, Respite, & After School and Summer Programs for Youth

CTA's After School and Summer Programs were developed in response to the need to have more effective wrap-around services for children and youth with autism, other developmental disabilities, or mental health needs, and their families. In the past, family support, respite and other wrap-around services were horribly inadequate for children with difficult support needs, such as challenging behavior. This resulted in frustrated families, and often forced kids unnecessarily into out-of-home care and residential placement. For kids in out-of-home care, this resulted in an unacceptable number of failed placements and unnecessary endless stays in residential facilities. Families were set up for failure, but CTA has leveled the playing field.
CTA's After School and Summer Programs provide consistent, high quality support that is always available. Services are individualized and can be as intensive as needed. Staff receive constant support and supervision. At CTA, we believe that environment matters! We offer support in fun, engaging, and therapeutic settings, where kids get into the community with friends, develop skills, overcome challenges, and realize their potential. We offer supports to children with autism, other developmental disabilities and mental health needs Monday through Saturday and throughout the summer at various locations.
At CTA, we recognize that (families/Parents/Caregivers) can use a break or some help from time to time, which is why we provide a variety of respite services for people with autism, other developmental disabilities, and mental health needs. CTA provides these services through our After School and Summer Programs.
